The international wave of ‘generation Z’ revolts shows the enormous energy among young people worldwide to fight this rotten system. But these mass movements also highlight the urgent need for a socialist programme to transform society and win genuine, lasting change – not just put another wing of the corrupt establishment in power. In Britain, Germany and beyond, working-class activists are debating the way forward for building a new political alternative on the left: What sorts of policies do we need to stand as a genuine alternative to the establishment parties, and how do we fight for those policies?
But even the best ideas are powerless if nobody hears them. On the other hand, a mass movement, armed with a programme to change society, has the power to change the world. International Socialist Alternative fights for such ideas in the movements of workers, youth and oppressed people today. It is for this reason that we have relaunched our website – to get our revolutionary ideas out as far and wide as possible!

We also regularly publish theoretical and historical articles to arm a new generation with the ideas, programme and strategy needed to overthrow this system.
