Socialist Struggle has a proud record of involvement in working-class and left movements on both sides of the national divide, advancing working-class solidarity in struggle against exploitation, poverty, oppression, the occupation, the siege of Gaza, imperialist wars, and for socialist change and regional peace. We stand against the national oppression of the Palestinians and for struggles by the Palestinian masses and by Israeli workers and youth against reaction and the right-wing capitalist regime which is based on inequality, exploitation and oppression. We stand for a socialist programme that would guarantee full material, democratic and national equality — as part of socialist change across the Middle East. We participated in 2007 in the founding of the democratic workers’ union federation ‘Power to the Workers’. Our public ‘Socialism Conference’ has involved through the years Israeli, Palestinian and international workers, youth, trade-unionists and grassroots activists.
