ISA Australia (formerly the Socialist Party) has a proud record of putting socialist ideas into action. It has helped young workers organise to win hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen wages and played a leading role in stopping the East-West toll road in Melbourne, the world’s biggest infrastructure project at the time. Over a period of more than 30 years, the organisation has helped to save local schools, parks and community centres from greedy developers. It has campaigned against imperialist wars, for refugee rights and is active in the climate movement.
