“Women want the privileges of male money and protection. But they refuse to spread their legs” — A disturbing video by a far-right student group has caused uproar in Belgium. The far-right KVHV invited Jeff Hoeyberghs to spread his sexist ideas. Campaign ROSA, launched by the LSP-PSL (the CWI in Belgium), protested at the campus.
The campaign activists said: “We do not tolerate the university of Ghent being used to spread sexist, racist and homophobic ideas. We want the university to exclude the KVHV and to start a broad discussion in all its bodies on how to fight sexism”.
